Inthismodeoncethecounterisenabledandrunningitcanbeclearedbythreemethods.Theseare acounteroverflow,acomparematchfromComparatorAandacomparematchfromComparatorP. WhentheSTCCLRbitislow,therearetwowaysinwhichthecountercanbecleared.Oneiswhen acomparematchfromComparatorP,theotheriswhentheCCRPbitsareallzerowhichallowsthe countertooverflow.HerebothSTMAFandSTMPFinterruptrequestflagsforComparatorAand ComparatorPrespectively,willbothbegenerated. IftheSTCCLRbitintheSTMC1registerishighthenthecounterwillbeclearedwhenacompare matchoccursfromComparatorA.However,hereonlytheSTMAFinterruptrequestflagwillbe generatedevenifthevalueoftheCCRPbitsislessthanthatoftheCCRAregisters.Thereforewhen STCCLRishighnoSTMPFinterruptrequestflagwillbegenerated.IntheCompareMatchOutput Mode,theCCRAcannotbesetto"0".IftheCCRAbitsareallzero,thecounterwilloverflowwhen itreachesitsmaximum10-bit,3FFHex,value,howeverheretheSTMAFinterruptrequestflagwill notbegenerated. Asthenameofthemodesuggests,afteracomparisonismade,theSTMoutputpin,willchange state.TheSTMoutputpinconditionhoweveronlychangesstatewhenanSTMAFinterruptrequest flagisgeneratedafteracomparematchoccursfromComparatorA.TheSTMPFinterruptrequest flag,generatedfromacomparematchoccursfromComparatorP,willhavenoeffectontheSTM outputpin.ThewayinwhichtheSTMoutputpinchangesstatearedeterminedbytheconditionof theSTIO1andSTIO0bitsintheSTMC1register.TheSTMoutputpincanbeselectedusingthe STIO1andSTIO0bitstogohigh,togolowortotogglefromitspresentconditionwhenacompare matchoccursfromComparatorA.TheinitialconditionoftheSTMoutputpin,whichissetupafter theSTONbitchangesfromlowtohigh,issetupusingtheSTOCbit.NotethatiftheSTIO1and STIO0bitsarezerothennopinchangewilltakeplace. |
