Single Pulse Output Mode

Toselectthismode,therequiredbitpairs,PT1M1andPT1M0shouldbesetto10respectivelyand

alsothecorrespondingPT1IO1andPT1IO0bitsshouldbesetto11respectively.TheSinglePulse

OutputMode,asthenamesuggests,willgenerateasingleshotpulseontheTMoutputpin.

ThetriggerforthepulseoutputleadingedgeisalowtohightransitionofthePT1ONbit,which

canbeimplementedusingtheapplicationprogram.HoweverintheSinglePulseMode,thePT1ON

bitcanalsobemadetoautomaticallychangefromlowtohighusingtheexternalPTCK1pin,

whichwillinturninitiatetheSinglePulseoutput.WhenthePT1ONbittransitionstoahighlevel,

thecounterwillstartrunningandthepulseleadingedgewillbegenerated.ThePT1ONbitshould

remainhighwhenthepulseisinitsactivestate.Thegeneratedpulsetrailingedgewillbegenerated

whenthePT1ONbitisclearedtozero,whichcanbeimplementedusingtheapplicationprogramor

whenacomparematchoccursfromComparatorA.

HoweveracomparematchfromComparatorAwillalsoautomaticallyclearthePT1ONbitandthus

generatetheSinglePulseoutputtrailingedge.InthiswaytheCCRAvaluecanbeusedtocontrol

thepulsewidth.AcomparematchfromComparatorAwillalsogenerateTMinterrupts.Thecounter

canonlyberesetbacktozerowhenthePT1ONbitchangesfromlowtohighwhenthecounter

restarts.IntheSinglePulseModeCCRPisnotused.ThePT1CCLRbitisalsonotused.
