Figure 63. Dual Series Sense Resistor Shunt, OC3 with Current Gain 2x
Figure 64 shows a shunt resistor with a center tap allowing to
sense a subsection of the shunt. The cutout of the center tap can
be adjusted for the channels I2 and OC2 to measure across half
the total resistance. The resistors seen at the (over-) current
channels are:
•
I1, OC1: Rsns
•
I2, OC2: ~0.5 × Rsns
•
OC3: Rsns
