FIGURE 1: Input Offset Voltage vs. Ambient Temperature with VDD =4.5V. FIGURE 2: Input Offset Voltage vs. Ambient Temperature with VDD = 45V. As seen in Figure 1 and Figure 2, the MCP6V51 op amps have excellent performance across temperature. The input offset voltage temperature drift (TC1) shown is well within the specified maximum values of 31 nV/°C at VDD = 4.5V and 36 nV/°C at VDD =45V. This performance supports applications with stringent DC precision requirements. In many cases, it will not be necessary to correct for temperature effects (i.e., calibrate) in a design.
