BATTERY BOOST CONTROL
CIRCUIT
An external boost control circuit is required for battery
powered designs that provide less than 3.0V because
the RN1723 module does not have an internal boost
regulator circuit.
Figure 2-4 shows the recommended circuit for the
boost regulator.
FIGURE 2-4:
RECOMMENDED BOOST REGULATOR CIRCUIT
WARNING
The battery boost circuit should not be operated
with battery supply voltages above 3.7 volts.
Failure to heed this warning could result in
permanent damage to the module.
