The purpose of capacitor C3 is to improve the LO-RF
leakageinsomeapplications.Thisrelativelysmall-valued
capacitorhaslittleeffectontheimpedancematchinmost
cases.Thiscapacitorshouldtypicallybelocatedcloseto
theIC,however,theremaybecaseswherere-positioning
thecapacitormayimproveperformance.
The measured return loss of the IF input is shown in
Figure3forapplicationfrequenciesof70MHz,240MHz
and456MHz.ComponentvaluesarelistedinTable2.(For
70MHzmatchingdetails,refertoFigure8.)
