ELECTRICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Note 1: Absolute Maximum Ratings are those values beyond which the life
of a device may be impaired.
Note 2: The LTC3414E is guaranteed to meet performance specifications
from 0
°C to 70°C. Specifications over the –40°C to 85°C operating
ambient temperature range are assured by design, characterization and
correlation with statistical process controls.
Note 3: The LTC3414 is tested in a feedback loop that adjusts VFB to
achieve a specified error amplifier output voltage (ITH).
The q denotes the specifications which apply over the full operating
temperature range, otherwise specifications are at TA = 25°C. VIN = 3.3V unless otherwise specified.

Note 4: Dynamic supply current is higher due to the internal gate charge
being delivered at the switching frequency.
Note 5: TJ is calculated from the ambient temperature TA and power
dissipation PD as follows: TJ =TA + (PD)(38°C/W)
Note 6: This IC includes overtemperature protection that is intended to
protect the device during momentary overload conditions. Junction
temperature will exceed 125
°C when overtemperature protection is active.
Continuous operation above the specified maximum operating junction
temperature may impair device reliabiability.
