# SN74ALS169/SN54ALS169/SN74AS169/SN54AS169 Counters/Latches
## Description
These are synchronous 4-bit up/down binary presettable counters with internal carry look-ahead circuitry for high-speed counting applications. They feature synchronous operation, eliminating output spikes associated with asynchronous counters. They are fully programmable and can be cascaded for n-bit synchronous applications.
