## Description

These are synchronous 4-bit up/down binary presettable counters with internal carry look-ahead circuitry for high-speed counting applications. They feature synchronous operation, eliminating output spikes associated with asynchronous counters. They are fully programmable and can be cascaded for n-bit synchronous applications.

## Functional Description

The counters are up/down binary counters with preset and load capabilities. They feature count enable (ENP, ENT), up/down (U/D) control, and ripple carry output (RCO).
